Subject AW: multiple imports
Date Fri, 19 Aug 2005 07:28:57 GMT
I thought there is a testcase ... but only for duplicate target names.

What would happen IF the file would imported twice?
- overriding targets with the same content under the same name
- evaluating properties a 2nd time - no override because props are immutable
- executing initial tasks a 2nd time ... ops!

But it seems to be ok.

<project name="a">
    <echo>a</echo>
</project>
<project name="b">
    <echo>b</echo>
    <import file="a.xml"/>
</project>
<project name="c">
    <echo>c</echo>
    <import file="a.xml"/>
    <import file="b.xml"/>
</project>

C:\ant\anttests\importCycle>ant -f c.xml
Buildfile: c.xml
     [echo] c
     [echo] a
     [echo] b

BUILD SUCCESSFUL
