Summary: FTP-Task cannot chmod directory permissions
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.6.5
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Optional Tasks
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: dominik.stadler@gmx.at

I'm trying to build a ant-script that puts a package onto a FTP-Server and then
adjusts the file-permissions. I also would like to adjust the properties of some
directories on the FTP-Server.

It seems the current implementation of the FTP-Task is not able to adjust
permissions of directories on the FTP-Server. I tried to create a ftp-task with
an included fileset that selects directories as well, but the FTP-Task always
only performs the chmod on files.

Also if I use the "chmod" attribute of the FTP-Task while using the "send"
action, only the files are assigned the desired permissions, the directories are
always created with "755"
