------- Additional Comments From joerg@domaschka.org  2005-08-14 13:37 -------
OK, here's an example:
o 1) create a directory, that contains spaces: mkdir "my dir"
o 2) create a simple java-file (and compile it):
package test;

public class Main {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
        for(int i = 0; i < args.length; i++) System.out.println(args[i]);
    }
}

o 3) create the build.xml file in this directory. let the file look this way:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<project basedir="." default="all">
<property name="args" value="${basedir}/foofile ${basedir}/barfile" />
<target name="all">
<java fork="yes" classname="test.Main" classpath=".">
	<arg line="${args}"/>
	<arg value="${args}"/>
</java>
</target>
</project>

o 4) run ant
o 5) assume the java program to do something reasonable with the input; neither
of both ways of passing the arguments produces the expected (and needed) output.
