           Summary: delete task option includeemptydirs: no deletion of in
                    same delete process created emptydirs
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.6.2
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: wolfgang.brodowski@gebit.de

Hi,
I've a simple target, which does two tasks.
First it packs some files into a jar, second it deletes the files, which it has
packed before. By deleting these files (which some of them come from
subdirectories) these subdirectories become empty.

The original delete target shows as follows
<delete>
<fileset dir="${a_basedir}">
<patternset refid="properties" />
</fileset>
</delete>

while the patternset is defined as
<patternset>
<includes name="**/*.properties"/>
</patternset>

These result is, as described before, empty directories.

Setting the delete-task option 'includeemptydirs="true"' has no effect (which I
wonder about and write this bugreport).
