------- Additional Comments From ant@kruithof.xs4all.nl  2005-06-25 11:06 -------
The bug report contains a testcase showing the problem with the brief formatter,
while the description claims it only occurs with the xml formatter. Too bad the
classpath is left out, as I suspect the cause is that the classpath is lacking
the jar file with the testcases.

When running

<project name="blah" basedir="." default="test">
<target name="test">

<zipfileset id="zip_set" src="t.jar" includes="**/*Test.class"/>

<junit>
<classpath>
<pathelement location="p.jar"/>
<pathelement location="t.jar"/>
</classpath>
<formatter type="brief"/>
<batchtest todir="test">
<fileset refid="zip_set"/>
</batchtest>

</junit>

</target>
</project>

I do not get any errors,

when not including t.jar on the classpath :

<project name="blah" basedir="." default="test">
<target name="test">

<zipfileset id="zip_set" src="t.jar" includes="**/*Test.class"/>

<junit>
<classpath>
<pathelement location="p.jar"/>
</classpath>
<formatter type="brief"/>
<batchtest todir="test">
<fileset refid="zip_set"/>
</batchtest>

</junit>

</target>
</project>

I get the same problem - Independent of the formatter.

This is perfectly logical as the test case selected is not on the classpath.

If this isn't the cause please reopen
