Fixed, along the lines outlined above.

You should now be able to specify in your build file

<property file="my.properties" />
<property system.type.key=""/>
<property server.time.zone=""/>
...
<ftp action="get"
    ...
    systemTypeKey="${system.type.key}"
    serverTimeZoneConfig="${server.time.zone}"
/>

and then overrride these defaults in my.properties:
system.type.key=WINDOWS
server.time.zone=America/Honolulu

or whatever.

If you want to use the default autodetect mechanism, simply don't include these
properties in my.properties.

I believe that satisfies your request.
