True.

I don't think there is much code left that predates <junit> and
certainly none that would predate JUnit 2.x.

AFAIK Slide already offers Ant tasks.  Ant in Jakarta Commons there is
the VFS project that has Ant tasks to copy and delet on all supported
"filesystems" which includes WebDAV.

Then Ant had to depend on this other project.  The main reason we have
them with Ant is that we can bootstrap Ant more easily that way.

Not that Ant itself is in org.apache.tools.ant, not org.apache.ant.
This is also part of Ant's history, being nothing but a tool to build
Tomcat.

There is a jakarta-tools CVS module that happens to create a file
moo.jar which is used by the Jakarta Watchdog project (Tomcat's
test-suite, if you want to call it that).  Not that I'd know about
that module if it wasn't for Gump.
