OK. Here is what I did:

1) I went to the following site:
http://brutus.apache.org/~nightlybuild/builds/ant/20050329/src/

2) I downloaded the apache-ant-1.7alpha-src.zip file. After unzipping it, i 
found that RExecTask.java has the while loop exactly at line 181 because of 
which rexec is hanging.

Am I wrong ? Please let me know
