No the issue is that the tar file does not
store the directories, so the unix tar command
has to create the directories without information
on the directories.

This issue also exists with the standard unix tar command.

if one does >tar cf test.tar test/*.xml
the tar file test.tar will contain
test/x.xml
test/build.xml
etc
i.e. no entry for the "test" directory.

I was thinking of fixing this by adding a new attribute
 - adddirectores (or something similar) to the tarfileset element.

Missing this makes using uid and gid in combination with
prefix attribute not too useful.
