------- Additional Comments From ant@kruithof.xs4all.nl  2005-03-03 22:32 -------
Some considerations:
the ftp task is lacking the remotedir attribute

when I try to download the indicated file using ncftp / ftp in passive mode I
continously get Data connection timed out

The get task also fails under linux with the same error report.

Ethereal traces show the following:
-> 21:EPSV
<- 21:229 Entering Extended Passive Mode (|||40111|)
-> 40111:SYN
-> 21:ACK
-> 40111:SYN
-> 40111:SYN
(Remote host does not react on the sent SYN packets on the port the remote host
proposed to be used)
-> 21:EPRT
<- 21:500 Illegal port command, EPSV ALL in effect
-> 21:EPRT
<- 21:500 Illegal port command, EPSV ALL in effect

So basically the remote host has accepted and entered the EPSV state, but does
not act accordingly. (accepts an connection on port 40111)

Closing this bug, as this is probably a network configuration error at the
remote site.
