wow. JVM crashes are rare. which is good, because there is nothing any of us can
do to fix them. And Class.forName() too. That means somehow trying to load a
class is crashing the entire JVM with a bug in the runtime (PC=0x0 means that we
have jumped to 0000:0000 ; null pointer bug usually, though things like faulty
memory can cause defects like this sometimes)

This may be something to take up with your JVM vendor. Try filing a bugrep at
sun to see what their response is.

It looks like you are running 1.4.2.07 from Sun. Is there a later release to try
(like the 1.5.0 branch?)

Try Ant1.6.3 too. To be honest, the 1.6 release (and all successors) has the
same shared new classloader stuff, but it all test and works on most machines.
