SCP fails without throwing exception or issuing warning on third-party copy

Summary: SCP fails without throwing exception or issuing warning
                    on third-party copy
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.7Alpha (nightly)
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Optional Tasks
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: junk@galbraiths.org

The scp task does not at present support copying from a remote server to a
remove server. However, this limitation is not documented in the Ant manual. The
task's quiet failure is annoying as one of the major use cases of the Unix scp
program is to perform so-called "third-party" copying, from one remote server to
another remote server.
