ZipOutputStream -- intresting flush code

           Summary: ZipOutputStream -- intresting flush code
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.6.1
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: ant@kruithof.xs4all.nl

While reviewing impact for bug 27546 (To see if other flush operations exhibited
the same behaviour) I found the following code in ZipOutputStream:

    /**
     * Flushes this output stream and forces any buffered output bytes
     * to be written out to the stream.
     *
     * @exception IOException if an I/O error occurs.
     * @since 1.14
     */
    public void flush() throws IOException {
        if (out == null) {
            out.flush();
        }
    }

Which will not flush if a stream is attached, and throw a NullPointerException
if no stream is attached.
