New 'tempdir' javac attribute is ignored by 1.6.0 and 1.6.1

Although the doc does not specify this, from the code, the
tempdir attribute is only used when the compilation is
forked.
The code itself is not incorrect, although the use of "tmpDir" for
the private field name and the use of the setTempDir to make the
attribute name tempdir, is not good code style, so the attached
patch is not needed.
Perhaps a change to the doc could fix this?
