System.in closed by <java>

           Summary: System.in closed by <java>
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.6Beta
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: smanux@lfjr.net

I'm starting with the <java> task a program reading the input System.in in an
infinite loop. Since Ant 1.6b2 the call to System.in.read() no longer blocks but
returns -1, and the process eats all the CPU time available. If the program is
started with Ant 1.5.4 the read() method blocks as expected. I'm experiencing
this issue with the JDK 1.4.2 on WinXP.
