Compilation fails in ant, but not in command line

           Summary: Compilation fails in ant, but not in command line
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.5.4
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Major
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: Adalbert.Homa@metavante.com

I created a build script to compile 2 projects. The second project refers to the
first project. The classpath for the second project is in the form

CLASSPATH=${PROJECT2_SRC};${PROJECT2_SRC}

If I compile from the command line, it works. But from ant it does not.
