           Summary: FTP task list action fails with fileset just containing
                    * or **

           Version: 1.6Beta
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Optional Tasks
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: andy.wood@ditg.tv

The following buildfile:
____

<project name="list.test" default="list">
	<target name="list" depends="list.fails,list.works"/>
	<target name="list.fails">
		<ftp action="list"
			server="www.ibiblio.org"
			userid="anonymous"
			password="me@mycompany.com"
			remotedir="pub/mirrors/apache/ant/binaries"
			listing="listing.fails.tmp">
			<fileset>
				<include name="*"/>
			</fileset>
		</ftp>
	</target>
	<target name="list.works">
		<ftp action="list"
			server="www.ibiblio.org"
			userid="anonymous"
			password="me@mycompany.com"
			remotedir="pub/mirrors/apache/ant"
			listing="listing.works.tmp">
			<fileset>
				<include name="binaries/*"/>
			</fileset>
		</ftp>
	</target>
</project>
____

Returns:
____

Buildfile: test.xml

list.fails:
      [ftp] listing files
      [ftp] 0 files listed

list.works:
      [ftp] listing files
      [ftp] 11 files listed

BUILD SUCCESSFUL
Total time: 28 seconds
____

Even though they logically should return the same file list.

It looks like the FTP.FTPDirectoryScanner isn't checking the
current working directory pattern match case properly (specifying
"./*" or "apache-ant-*" doesn't work either).

Specifying an exact single filename in the fileset (such as
"apache-ant-1.5.4-bin.zip") will return the listing for that
file, with or without a leading directory specified.
