JAVAC ignores excludes

           Summary: JAVAC ignores excludes
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.4.1
          Platform: Sun
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: fredrik.stodne@nmct.com

When adding the excludes attribute to javac ant-task it is ignored, despite
using the syntax explained in the manual, i.e. the file(s) in excludes are
compiled anyway.

E.g.
  <target name="compile" depends="prepareapplication">
    <javac srcdir="src" destdir="${build.home}/WEB-INF/classes"
           classpath="${build.home}/WEB-INF/classes"
           debug="on" optimize="off" deprecation="on" source="1.4"
           excludes="com/mypackage/MyClass.java"/>
  </target>
