Pass Ant parameters from target

           Summary: Pass Ant parameters from target
           Product: Ant
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Other
         Component: Other
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: saden1@yahoo.com

It seems that it is not possible to pass arguments to Ant from within a target.
Something like this:

<target name="doSomething" description="example" >
  <antarg line="-verbose"/>
   ....do something here
</target>

or

<target name="doSomething" description="example" antarg="-verbose">
   ....do something here
</target>

All I want is the ability to make some targets be verbose.
