Sorry, works for me:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<project name="test" basedir="." default="del">

    <target name="md">
        <!-- should not be deleted -->
        <mkdir dir="src"/>
        <mkdir dir="docs"/>
        <!-- temp dirs for deletion -->
        <tstamp/>
        <mkdir dir="tmp_ejbmyhostname27001myserver"/>
        <mkdir dir="tmp_ejbmyhostname27002myserver"/>
        <mkdir dir="tmp_ejbmyhostname27003myserver"/>
        <mkdir dir="tmp_ejbanotherhostname27000myserver"/>
        <mkdir dir="tmp_ejbanotherhostname27000anotherserver"/>
        <mkdir dir="tmp_${DSTAMP}_${TSTAMP}"/>
    </target>

    <target name="del">
        <delete includeEmptyDirs="true"><fileset dir="."
includes="tmp_*/"/></delete>
    </target>

</project>

For more control about naming, you can use <selector>s inside the <fileset>.
