With nightly build 2003-08-27 it now is at least possible to use the outputfile
as a target file, i.e.

<apply executable="m4" output="foo.sql" dest=".">
  <fileset dir="." includes="foo.m4"/>
  <mapper type="glob" from="*.m4" to="*.sql"/>
</apply>

We lose the ability to work on multiple files here, but then again this is what
the output attribute promises to do, it captures the output of a single execution.
