It is difficult to implement with try/catch - it is like adding try/catch
and a condition that any of the dependencies did not fail into every target.
The feature is implemented in make and it is very useful there.

Hi Alexey,
it is possible that ant 1.6 will contain a try-catch feature.
this might make your idea redundant - correct me if I am wrong ?
