Passing arguments through ant.bat doesn't work

I think that there is a mis-understanding of the original
request.

The behaviour requested is that:
ant -Dprop1= -Dprop2=hello -Dprop3= compile
Will set prop1 to "", prop2 to "hello" and prop3 to "" and
run the target "compile".

On linux this works both for ant 1.5.3-1 and for the nigthly
build.

Thankfully I do not have windows at the moment
so I cannot test on windows.
