The points raised by this bug report have
been fixed.

1)
There is a new way to add custom selectors.
Use <typedef name="mycustomselector"
     classname="x.y.customselector"/>

If x.y.customselector implements FileSelector, it
can be used as a normal selector xml element
supporting set/add/create Bean pattern.
(This needs to be documented).

2) setProject is now called on (hopefully) all ant created
objects.
