but the documentation of (ant 1.5.3) <loadproperties> (that works) says:

"This is equivalent to <property file="..."/> except that it supports nested 
<filterchain> elements and it cannot be specified outside a target."

so, <loadproperties srcFile="bla.properties"> should be the exact same es 
<property file="bla.properties"> ... shouldn't it?
