should be fixed in nightly build 2003-04-29.

Jan, the key would have been the XXX comment in ProjectHelper2.java around line
750 (Revision 1.17, that is).  Whoever has written that comment (probably Costin),
has been aware of the problem but didn't change it to remain backwards compatible
with prior Ant versions.

I hope I haven't broken backwards compatibility now, but it looks OK to me.
