Conditional task tags

           Summary: Conditional task tags
           Product: Ant
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: yoon@itgssi.com

It would be nice if there were confitional statements in ant.

For example

<IF prop="aProp" equals="aValue">
   <!-- Do something here -->
   ...
<ELSEIF prop="aProp" gt="4464">
   <!-- Do something here -->
   ...
<ELSEIF prop="aProp" lt="222">
   <!-- Do something here -->
   ...
<ELSE>
   <!-- Do something else here -->
   ...
<ENDIF>

Currently, there is no way of doing a simple conditional logic other than
checking to see if a property has been set or not.

Looping statements (while, for) would also be usefull but not as important
as a simple IF-ELSEIF-ELSE-ENDIF tag.

I'm you folks can add this to Ant.

It would greatly enhance Ant's usefullness.

Thanks.
