Parameter passing into a target

           Summary: Parameter passing into a target
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.5.1
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: ant-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: xavier.mehaut@free.fr

hello,
I would suggest the following enhancement for the target task.
I would like to pass some parameters into a target task like this :
<target name="Integration" depends="Build">
    <property name="version" value="I${DSTAMP}"></property>
</target>
<target name="Build" parameter="version">
   <zip destfile="dummy.zip" >
      <zipfileset dir="dummy" prefix="${version"/>
   </zip>
</target>
This could be useful to set properties locally toa target and to pass the
content of theses properties into anaother task.
regards
Xavier
