Zip and friends task enhancement request

------- Additional Comments From bodewig@apache.org 2003-02-04 14:01 -------
Hmm, with the (almost complete) fix for 10755 on my disk, I get

test:
    [mkdir] Created dir: /tmp/test1
    [touch] Creating /tmp/test1/foo
    [mkdir] Created dir: /tmp/test2
    [touch] Creating /tmp/test2/foo
    [mkdir] Created dir: /tmp/test3
    [touch] Creating /tmp/test3/foo
      [zip] Building zip: /tmp/test.zip

which only indicates that 10755 is fixed 8-)

I'm almost inclined to close this bug again. In your third <zip>, you ask
the task to update the archive (i.e. add files not already present and replace
those older than those in the basedir) and at the same time want it to fail
if it wants to do more than just adding? I feel this is stretching the
duplicate="fail" more than a bit - the resulting archive wouldn't contain
duplicates, it would only contain the latest version of "foo".
