ant on win98 generates "out of environment space" message

Summary: ant on win98 generates "out of environment space"
                    message
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.5.1
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows 9x
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core
        AssignedTo: ant-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: abtahi@hotmail.com
                CC: abtahi@hotmail.com

I installed ant on win98 and set the path. whenever I execute any ant command
like (ant -v) or (ant -debug), I get the message of "out of environment space".

I checked autoexcec.bat, nothing abnormal. I can run (javac) without any
problem.

Thanks
