Be sure to use the same capitalization everywhere. I finally diagnosed a problem a colleague was haven't to the fact she had 'path' defined instead of 'Path'. For DOS, it doesn't matter, but it does for Ant, or more precisely for the apps forked using Ant (msdev.exe in my case). Furthmore, it seems you need to fully unset the path and reset it to be able to change its capitalization (on Win2K at least).
