ant (shell script) does not check if JAVA_HOME is set or exported

Summary: ant (shell script) does not check if JAVA_HOME is set or
                    exported
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.5.1
          Platform: Sun
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core
        AssignedTo: ant-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: rozensky@avaya.com

First attempt to use ant received an error about JAVA_HOME not being configured
correctly; after a bit of work I found that JAVA_HOME was not export'ed in
my shell-even though it was set, this still caused errors. I added the
following to the script; it is useful for our implementation:

  if [ -z "$JAVA_HOME" ]; then
echo "JAVA_HOME is not set or JAVA_HOME has not been 'export'ed"
    exit 1
  fi

this code is added immediately after these lines:

# set ANT_LIB location
ANT_LIB="${ANT_HOME}/lib"

if [ -z "$JAVACMD" ] ; then
