There is an <if> task in ant-contrib.sourceforge.net, which you can declare and
use if you want it.


The reason that ant core doesnt (and probably wont) include an if class comes
down to the difference between declarative and procedural programming. Its a
sensitive topic. Ant already has conditional targets, and <fail> is conditional
too. If these are not enough, get the ant-contrib library.
