Unable to use version "labels" with PVCS optional task
Summary: Unable to use version "labels" with PVCS optional task
Product: Ant
Version: 1.4
Platform: Other
OS/Version: AIX
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: Other
Component: Optional Tasks
AssignedTo: ant-dev@jakarta.apache.org
ReportedBy: mark.everhart@notes.mdor.state.mn.us
We use versions within PVCS to label the tips (latest revisions) of files.
When using the label parameter, I expected it to use a get command with a -V
flag and the label value. Instead it uses a -r flag (revision). Upon further
review of the documentation, there does not seem to be any way of having a
retrieval of files based upon version number. An additional parameter to do a
get based upon version will need to be added, for this to be truly useful to
our development team.
