VAJ Tasks broken

------- Additional Comments From sbailliez@apache.org 2002-08-15 21:30 -------
So. What are we supposed to do here ?

No committers use VAJ and it looks like users have a whole range of opinions
on these tasks ranging from crap to useless and incompatible.

We are supposed to be backward compatible but as IBM does not care much I
don't see much reason for self inflicting pain on this one, though it would be
me I would simply remove this task as this IDE obviouslly does not have a long
future.

If you guys want a VAJ task, then you are forced to do the work and submit
patches. There does not seem to be much interest on this, but if you do please
provide a link so that we can download VAJ otherwise we won't be able to
compile it - another 150Mo for an API !. If you don't then this task has to be
officially put in deprecated mode.
