But Stephane, many of us DO care about comments.  That was the point of my last
few posts.  I want the SQL text sent *exactly* as it appears in the script,
except that the Ant properties get filled in by the
"project.replaceProperties(line)" call, and the individual statements within the
script get sent individually, by breaking them up based on the statement delimiter.

IMHO, this is ALL this method should do.
I use Ant to create Oracle stored procedures.  I want those stored procedures to
contain comments, so that if a DBA has to troubleshoot a production problem, he
can read the comments to get a better understanding of what the procedure does.
