The exec task could have an "append" attribute for its output.

Summary: The exec task could have an "append" attribute for its
                    output.
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.4.1
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: ant-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: jnaveen@ltp.soft.net

The "output" attribute of the exec tasks always works in a overwrite mode.
I think it will be useful to have a mode where it will be possible to
append to the file specified by the output attribute.
For example I do a "ls" into a file and then I do a "sum" into the same file.
The workaround now is to output to many files and then "cat" all of them.
