Summary: file protection mode not taken into account by Copy and
                    Tar tasks
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.4.1
          Platform: Sun
        OS/Version: Solaris
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: ant-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: beard_brice@computer.org

jdk 1.2.2.05, solaris 2.6

when i use tar or copy task the files used don't retain their protection
(particularly executability) this is ok for copy if I then use the
chmod task but I can't do anything for Tar
