I am not sure how good of an idea is for a build system to allow you to mask 
out  file in the way you pretend. To me that is a kind of hack and I am not 
sure is the best kind of feature for producing stable builds.

Have you thought on other methods of acomplishing your work?
I guess the question is: is this the only way for you to do your job, or is ti 
just the way you have been using upto now.
