You can if you want. Somethings are unlikely to be directly backported into 
ant1.x because they introduce too much change. In those cases using Java1.2 
is fine. In other cases where you want to move it into the Ant1.x tree as 
soon as possible then it is best to use java1.1 to save your self some work.
