I took a quick scan of the code and it all seemed fine to me.

And now looking at the -debug output you sent in a different message... I
believe you are running still out of date code as the ant.java.version
property setting in Project was patched to not issue that warning and
committed very recently.  I should have noticed this earlier with the
details you sent - are you certain you're running from the version in CVS?
My best guess is that you are still not on the latest.
