classpath in ant.bat

           Summary: classpath in ant.bat
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.3
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Other
         Component: Build Process
        AssignedTo: ant-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: rwang@arenapharm.com

Problem encountered with the classpath when running ant.bat in the building
process. The problem was caused by the space in the directory name in the
classpath, such as C:\Program Files\java. The ant.bat program thinks
Files\java is the next argument.
the following section of code in the ant.bat

:runAnt
%_JAVACMD% -classpath %LOCALCLASSPATH% -Dant.home="%ANT_HOME%" %ANT_OPTS%
org.apache.tools.ant.Main %ANT_CMD_LINE_ARGS%
goto end

should be changed to

:runAnt
%_JAVACMD% -classpath "%LOCALCLASSPATH%" -Dant.home="%ANT_HOME%" %ANT_OPTS%
org.apache.tools.ant.Main %ANT_CMD_LINE_ARGS%
goto end
