Thats why a patch like this will never get applied ;) In Ant2 we will have 
some form of cross project dependencies. We will probably have some form of 
templating that will make this easier. See a mail entitiled "Re: Question 
about properties and ant2" on 14th of sept from me. It should explain two of 
the templating options being considered.
