Subject Holding references between tasks
Date Tue, 21 Aug 2001 14:00:47 GMT
Hello out there,

I want to write some Ant tasks which can only be used together.

Consider this small example:

- Task "create" creates an object and stores its reference somewhere.
- Some tasks retreive the reference and operate on it (ignored on this
example)
- Task "destroy" retreives the reference, deletes it from the store and
destroys the object.

My question:

Is there any facility in the Ant framework to store one or many object
references between different tasks?
It would be perfect if the lifecycle of this reference would be based on the
project, but a target-based lifecycle would also be okay.

Greetings,

  Andreas
