sure it can - else it would not be possible to have free software on OSes
based on Win32.

It would be nice to be compatable - but I don't think that is a main
priority (gonna break when we go java2 with ant2 anyway). However if you
want to help and make sure that compiles/runs fine under kaffe and it
doesn't comprmise code quality then go for it ;)

While I am a big fan of CLASSPATH and I wrote a JVM based on japhar once I
don't think many will go out of their way to help Kaffe being incompatible.
Kaffe is largely incompatible with many java apps and until they can
achieve at least a baseline quality I am not going to spend extra cycles
worrying about them. Besides don't you know that we are "the enemy"
accoridng to the GPL camp ;)
