I gather you mean the complexity of ant, not my build process:-(

Perhaps I just don't understand ANT.  What is the recommended way to handle
something like a property with 3 values where the build process needs to run
different sets of tasks, or targets, depending on the value of the property?
It appears to me that ANT supports only properties which are set or unset.

There has been a lot of discussion about this but generally the developers
do not want to see this added. The main reason is that it adds complexity
and opens the road to more complexity - things we want to avoid like the
plague ;)
