Yes, it is.  Tomcat supports both servlets and JSP pages, implemented through a servlet container
(Catalina) and a JSP compiler+runtime
environment (Jasper).

Don't be too surprised ... some of the Tomcat world doesn't seem to understand this simple
equation either :-)
