I actually started to right a cron task for ant, but never finished it
because I wasn't sure if I should be running things synchronously or
asynchronously so it now just runs in a continous loop.

Just out of interest what do people use to schedule builds when in an NT dev
environment.
We find that the at (schedule) service on NT is not quite there.
Are there any other cron type tools available?
