REPORT #90 Details.

Project: Ant
Category: Feature Requests
SubCategory: New Feature
Class: swbug
State: received
Priority: high
Severity: critical
Confidence: public
Environment:
   Release: 1.1
   JVM Release: java 1.2.2
   Operating System: Windows NT
   OS Release: 4, sp 6
   Platform: Intel 386

Synopsis:
VssGet Task is not available

Description:
VssGet is documented in the user docs but doesnt appear to be in the distribution.

my build.xml looks like this...

<target name="get_latest" depends="prepare">
<vssget
   login="Walt,password"
   vsspath="$/NewsTicker"
   localpath="${project.source}"
   recursive="true"/>
</target>

When I run ant get_latest I get the following error ...

BUILD FAILED

build.xml:41: Could not create task of type: vssget because I can't find it in the list of
task class definitions

On a related note - I would use exec to call ss directly but the vsspath "$/NewsTicker" is
resolved by ant to "/NewsTicker" - how do I escape the '$' character ?
