Some comments on Ant Spec 0.5:

This is a good suggestion, otherwise regular jars might be
mistaken for a task by the end-user. (Internally we can check
on the Ant-Task-Class property in the manifest.

I think already has been discussed that the type could be
anything, as long as it is primitive or a class with a
String-constructor (so it is not restricted to File).
If this fails, bail out...
